“I have a budget and I’m sticking to it!” – heard that phrase before? A budget is just a stab in the dark, and can always be changed. Remember that the price is only an issue in the absence of value. It’s like ‘company policy,’ yes that’s their rules, but it’s also just someone’s decision! It’s not law. For a wedding couple, most work out their budget based on what their friends have said, or a wedding magazine. Estimations to what they will spend on a dress, shoes, rings, guests etc mean whatever is left is their photography ‘budget,’ but also an uneducated guess. We just need to give them a reason to spend more!
